Clinigen is a rapidly growing global specialty pharmaceutical services business with a unique combination of services across the pharmaceutical lifecycle. We currently have over 1,000 employees headquartered in the UK with global offices in the US, EU (Belgium, Germany, France), Asia Pacific and South Africa. Clinigen is growing rapidly and is positioned well for an exciting future of continued expansion.
Please note this role is available on a hybrid basis from either our Weybridge or Burton upon Trent office locations.
This is an initial 6-12 month fixed-term contract, and we're looking for someone who is available to start in September 2026.
About the role
Are you a creative graduate or early-career professional with a passion for content, design and visual communications?
Do you enjoy taking information and turning it into something that is clear, engaging and visually compelling?
We’re looking for a Content & Visual Communications Executive to join Clinigen’s Digital/Marketing team on an initial 6-12 month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone in the early stages of their career to gain hands-on experience working across content, presentations, digital communications and design.
This is a newly created role, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact on how Clinigen communicates internally and externally. You’ll work with colleagues across Marketing, Communications and the wider business, helping to bring ideas and information to life through high-quality visual and written content.
What you'll be doing
You’ll have the opportunity to work on a varied range of projects, including:
- Creating engaging and professional PowerPoint presentations for a range of audiences, including senior leaders and external stakeholders.
- Turning complex or unstructured information into clear, simple and visually compelling stories.
- Creating infographics, charts, diagrams and other visual assets.
- Supporting internal communications, social media, thought leadership and corporate content.
- Creating digital and print-ready assets, including social graphics, reports, event materials and campaign collateral.
- Helping maintain and develop templates, slide libraries and branded assets.
- Working with colleagues to understand briefs, audiences and objectives and turning these into effective communications.
- Using AI and digital tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to support research, content creation, ideation and presentation development.
- Learning and developing your skills while helping us continuously improve the quality and consistency of Clinigen’s visual communications.
What we're looking for
We're not expecting you to have years of experience. This is a junior/early-career opportunity, and we're particularly interested in graduates or candidates in their first or second professional role.
You’ll ideally have:
- A degree, apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media, Journalism, Business or a related discipline.
- A genuine interest in content, design, digital marketing and visual communications.
- Strong PowerPoint skills and an eye for creating professional, engaging presentations.
- Good visual judgement, with an appreciation of typography, layout, colour and visual hierarchy.
- Strong written English, with good drafting, editing and proofreading skills.
- An ability to take information and turn it into a clear and engaging story.
- Excellent attention to detail and a genuine pride in producing high-quality work.
- Confidence using digital and creative tools. Experience with Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, HubSpot or similar platforms would be beneficial.
- An interest in how AI can be used to improve creative and content workflows.
- A positive, curious and collaborative approach, with the confidence to ask questions and learn.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
Why Clinigen?
This is an opportunity to join a global organisation at an exciting time, working in a newly created role with real visibility across the business.
You'll gain exposure to Marketing, Communications, senior stakeholders and a wide range of content and visual projects, giving you the opportunity to build a broad skill set and develop your career in communications and digital marketing.
If you're a creative graduate or early-career professional looking for an opportunity to develop your skills, we'd love to hear from you.
