Finance Manager
What We’re All About.
Quantexa is a global leader in AI-powered Decision Intelligence. As one of the UK's fastest-growing tech companies, we're on a mission to help organizations make better, more trusted decisions. As we continue our rapid global expansion, we are looking for a commercially minded and technically strong Finance Manager to join our dynamic finance team.
At Q, we’re looking for people who share that vision. People like you.
The opportunity.
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and commercially astute Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in safeguarding and optimising revenue performance across our global business.
As a trusted Finance Business Partner to our sales, delivery, and operations teams, you will take ownership of revenue recognition and gross margin integrity, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 while providing clear, actionable insights that influence deal structuring, project performance, and strategic decision-making.
This is a high-impact role at the heart of a fast-growing, global SaaS organization—offering the opportunity to gain deep exposure to complex customer contracts, regional commercial dynamics, and evolving revenue models, while driving automation and continuous improvement across financial processes.
What you’ll be doing.
Lead regional month-end close activities with a focus on revenue recognition (IFRS 15 / GAAP), project cost validation, and gross margin reporting, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external accounting standards.
Own transactional accuracy across revenue, cost of sales, project setup, contract amendments, and change orders, ensuring all financial data flows correctly through to gross margin, project, and customer analysis.
Prepare and reconcile deferred and accrued revenue schedules, validating the completeness and accuracy of supporting documentation.
Deliver actionable insights to commercial and delivery teams, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities to optimise project profitability and revenue performance.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Delivery, Operations, and Legal) to understand commercial activity, project performance, and operational drivers impacting financial results.
Support global audit and compliance requirements, providing timely reconciliations, evidence, and documentation for internal and external auditors.
Drive process improvements and automation across reporting, data capture, and financial processes, enhancing efficiency, control, and scalability (such as NetSuite and Salesforce integrations).
Contribute to the design and implementation of new financial processes, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practice.
Support ad hoc commercial analysis and business projects, providing insights that influence decision-making across the organisation.
What you’ll bring.
Qualified accountant – ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
Significant experience in a relevant accounting role, with a strong focus on revenue recognition in a commercial environment.
Proven hands-on experience applying IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles (experience with US GAAP is highly advantageous).
Demonstrated experience reviewing and assessing customer contracts, including multi-element arrangements, deferred revenue, and contract modifications.
Experience operating as a Finance Business Partner, working closely with commercial teams to support deal structuring, pricing, and revenue treatment decisions.
Strong understanding of SaaS or subscription-based revenue models (highly desirable).
Experience automating and improving processes through systemisation and controls.
Experience building and preparing reporting packs using a reporting tool.
Advanced Excel skills.
Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Our mission.
We have one mission. To help businesses grow. To make data easier. And to make the world a better place. We’re not a start-up. Not anymore. But we’ve not been around that long either. What we are is a collection of bright, passionate minds harnessing complexities and helping our clients and their communities. One culture, made of many. Heading in one direction – the future.
It’s all about you.
We want you to feel welcome, valued, and respected - because it’s your individuality and passion that make you Q. We see that, and we celebrate it. That’s why we’re proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment, continuously improving to ensure everyone belongs. Our recruitment process is designed to be inclusive and accessible. If you need any reasonable adjustments or accommodations, please let our Talent Acquisition Team know - we’re happy to assist.
No matter your race, beliefs, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, neurodiversity, or abilities—whoever you are—if you're a passionate, curious, and caring human eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible, we want to hear from you.
