Le technicien du centre d’assistance sera responsable de :

  • Maintenir le système de gestion des stocks du matériel d’AQ
  • Déployer le matériel d’AQ au sein des diverses équipes et le récupérer
  • Construire et entretenir tous les ordinateurs de jeux de l’équipe AQ
  • Recevoir et livrer les actifs et les colis (numériques et physiques)
  • Remédier aux vulnérabilités critiques de différents studios WBGames (compétence transversale)

 

Le technicien du centre d’assistance doit :

  • Être présent du lundi au vendredi au studio
  • Posséder d’excellentes compétences en communication
  • Avoir de grandes aptitudes pour le travail en équipe
  • Avoir le sens aigu du détail
  • Être capable de travailler de façon autonome et de garder son sang-froid durant les périodes de stress élevé

The Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the QA inventory management system
  • Deployment and retrieval of QA hardware to the various teams
  • Building and maintaining all of QA’s gaming PCs
  • Receive and deliver assets and packages (both digital and physical)
  • Remediate critical security vulnerabilities from different WBGames studios

 

The Helpdesk Technician needs to:

  • Be present in office Mon. – Fri.
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a great affinity for teamwork
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Be able to work autonomously and keep a level head during periods of high stress

Support informatique et technologique – AQ (40%) :

  • Offrir du support informatique et technologique pour les employés du service d’AQ
  • Construire des ordinateurs de jeux selon les spécifications fournies
  • Mettre à niveau et réparer le matériel des ordinateurs de jeux de 1er niveau (remplacement de pièces)
  • Installer et administrer Windows, en corriger les problèmes

Stocks du matériel – AQ (30%) :

  • Collaborer avec l’équipe informatique et celle du centre d’assistance en ce qui a trait à la réception du matériel d’AQ (consoles, périphériques, etc.)
  • Étiqueter le matériel et l’entrer dans le système de gestion des stocks
  • Maintenir les stocks du matériel d’AQ et fournir des suggestions liées aux prévisions à votre gestionnaire, AQ pour les besoins futurs
  • Tenir à jour le matériel d’AQ, le distribuer aux équipes AQ, en faire le suivi et le récupérer
  • Effectuer du dépannage et diagnostiquer le matériel défectueux
  • Effectuer la procédure d’autorisation de retour d’article pour le matériel brisé, au besoin

Gestion des vulnerabilités – Compétence transversale (30%) :

  • Prendre en charge et régler les vulnérabilités critques identifiées par le groupe de sécurité de WBD
  • Communiquer et collaborer avec différents studios WBGames afin de régler les vulnérabilités identifiées
  • Faire un suivi et rendre compte de la progression de la diminution des vulnérabilités aux parties prenantes

STANDARDS DE QUALIFICATION DU POSTE

Expérience de travail

  • Minimum de trois années d’expérience de travail dans un poste similaire
  • Minimum d’une année d’expérience de travail dans l’industrie des jeux vidéo (un atout)

 

Scolarité, formation professionnelle, formation technique ou certification

  • DEC en technologies de l’information ou expérience équivalente

 

Connaissances et aptitudes

  • Orientation soutien et service
  • Dépannage, administration et installation de Windows
  • Outils de transfert (Aspera ou FTP)
  • Excellentes connaissances de MS Office, particulièrement MS Excel
  • Solides compétences en communication écrite et verbale (anglais et français)
  • Autonomie et grand sens de l’initiative
  • Autodétermination, rigueur et minutie
  • Autoapprentissage actif et capacité d’adaptation rapide aux changements et d’apprentissage rapide des nouvelles technologies
  • En mesure de travailler efficacement sous haute pression et d’effectuer plusieurs tâches simultanément

Computer and technology support (40%):

  • Offer computer and technology support to the QA employees
  • Build gaming PCs according to provided specifications
  • Provide recommendations on alternative hardware when needed

QA Inventory (30%):

  • Collaborate with the Helpdesk and IT teams for the reception of QA hardware (consoles, peripherals, etc...)
  • Label and enter hardware into the inventory management system
  • Maintain the QA hardware inventory, and provide forecast suggestions to your QA manager for future needs
  • Maintain and distribute QA hardware material to QA teams, as well as track and retrieve the distributed QA hardware material
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faulty hardware
  • Perform RMAs as needed on broken hardware

Vulberability management – Transversal competency (30%):

  • Own and resolve critical vulnerabilities as identified by the WBD security team
  • Communicate and collaborate with the different WBGames studios to solve the identified vulnerabilities
  • Follow up and provide feedback on the progress of vulnerability management to the stakeholders

JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Work Experience

  • Minimum 3 years work experience in a similar role
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in the video games industry (nice to have)

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • DEC in information technology or equivalent experience

 

Knowledge/Skills

  • Service / support oriented
  • Windows installation, administration and troubleshooting
  • Transfer tools (Aspera or FTP)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English & French)
  • Autonomy and high level of proactivity
  • Self-conducted, rigorous and is detail focused
  • Active self-learning, be able to adopt changes quickly and learn new technology fast
  • Work efficiently under high pressure and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Game console hardware knowledge
  • Scripting skills
