Senior Creative Operations & Production Manager
We’re building a dedicated Creative Operations function to help our Brand organization deliver exceptional creative work with clarity, speed, and production excellence. As a Senior Creative Operations & Production Manager, you’ll play a critical role in supporting multidisciplinary creative work across design, video, motion, illustration, and experiential events, partnering closely with Creative Managers, the Events team, external vendors, and Brand stakeholders to keep high-impact initiatives moving efficiently.
You’ll help oversee the operational execution of creative work by improving visibility, coordinating resources, managing creative production workflows, and ensuring teams have the tools, processes, and support they need to deliver at a high level. You’ll work closely with the Lead Creative Operations Manager to evolve how the Brand organization operates while maintaining operational excellence across day-to-day creative delivery.
This role balances hands-on operational ownership with continuous process improvement and is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex creative work while remaining flexible enough to jump into the details when projects need additional support. While this role supports a broad range of Brand initiatives, experience with creative production and experiential event delivery is highly valued, as you’ll help provide operational oversight for some of our largest and most visible event programs.
At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.
What You'll Do:
- Manage day-to-day creative operations and production across design, video, motion, illustration, and experiential event initiatives, helping teams deliver high-quality work on time and with operational excellence
- Partner with Creative Managers, the Events team, Brand stakeholders, external vendors, and the Lead Creative Operations Manager to coordinate complex creative productions, maintain alignment, and proactively resolve operational challenges
- Own creative intake, project routing, task assignment, and workload visibility, ensuring work is appropriately scoped, prioritized, and balanced across the team
- Provide production oversight for experiential and event-related creative initiatives, coordinating internal teams, external vendors, freelancers, and production partners through planning, execution, and delivery
- Manage vendor relationships, onboarding, procurement, contracts, and tooling, helping identify and operationalize new creative partners and technologies as the organization grows
- Own the administration, optimization, and adoption of creative operations tools—including project management platforms, digital asset management systems, reporting dashboards, and workflow documentation—while identifying opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve team efficiency
Who You Are:
- You have 4+ years of experience in creative operations, integrated production, creative production, project management, or a related operational role supporting multidisciplinary creative teams
- You have experience supporting creative production and/or experiential event delivery, with an understanding of the operational complexity involved in bringing large-scale creative initiatives to life
- You’re highly organized and comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects, balancing competing priorities, and adapting as business needs evolve
- You build strong relationships with creative teams, marketing partners, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders through clear communication, empathy, and sound judgment
- You’re curious about improving how teams work, with experience maintaining project management systems, optimizing workflows, vendor operations, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements
- You’re familiar with platforms such as Asana, Jira, Airtable, Workfront, or similar project management tools, and are interested in AI-enabled workflow optimization, automation, and emerging creative technologies
Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.
