Experienced Physiotherapist with Lead Mentorship Opportunity (Scarborough)
Experienced Physiotherapist with Lead Mentorship Opportunity
Build More Than A Caseload. Build A Career.
Most clinics focus on getting you busy. At Axis, we help you build a thriving caseload while becoming the best clinician and professional you can be.
With established systems, strong community relationships, dedicated administrative support, and structured mentorship, we've created an environment designed to help clinicians grow faster than they thought possible.
We're looking for a Physiotherapist with 1+ year of clinical experience who is ambitious, curious, committed to growth, and interested in developing their clinical and leadership skills.
The Opportunity
As a Physiotherapist at Axis, you'll report directly to the Clinic Director and work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
In addition to your clinical role, this position offers the opportunity to take on clinical mentorship responsibilities, supporting the development of newer clinicians across Axis locations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional, evidence-informed physiotherapy care
- Developing meaningful relationships with clients and establishing treatment goals
- Educating clients and empowering them throughout their recovery
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Participating in mentorship, team development, and community initiatives
- Mentoring newer clinicians across multiple Axis locations
- Supporting the onboarding and clinical development of new team members
- Contributing to the continued development of Axis's clinical culture and standards
Clinical Mentorship Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an experienced clinician who wants to do more than treat.
As a clinical mentor, you'll have the opportunity to support newer Physiotherapists across multiple Axis locations through mentorship, clinical discussions, onboarding, and professional development.
Mentorship responsibilities come with additional hourly compensation.
More information about the mentorship structure, expectations, and compensation will be provided to candidates who are interested in exploring this opportunity.
Why Clinicians Choose Axis
We believe success isn't measured by how quickly we fill your schedule. It's measured by the therapist, leader, and professional you become.
Development isn't a recruiting promise at Axis. It's part of our infrastructure.
Today, Axis includes:
- 6 clinics across the GTA and growing
- 100+ teammates
- 4,000+ five-star reviews
- 100,000+ treatment sessions delivered annually
- A culture that has remained strong as we've grown from one clinic to seven
- Structured mentorship designed to improve clinician confidence and client outcomes
- A clear career path designed to help you grow
Many of our Clinic Directors, senior clinicians, and Partners started as staff clinicians at Axis. As we continue to grow, so do the opportunities available to our team.
What Makes Axis Different
Many organizations can teach you how to treat injuries. Far fewer can teach you how to:
- Build and sustain a thriving caseload
- Communicate with confidence
- Lead and mentor others
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Think like an owner
- Create opportunities for yourself
- Grow beyond the treatment room
Our goal isn't simply to help you become a better Physiotherapist. Our goal is to help you become an exceptional professional.
How We Invest In You
Mentorship is frequently promised in healthcare. At Axis, it's built into our foundation.
Our clinicians receive access to:
- Axis Basecamp™ – our structured 12-week onboarding program designed to accelerate confidence through hands-on skill development, clinical reasoning, communication training, and mentorship from experienced leaders
