Protein Scientist (Protein Purification) (f/m/x)

What You’ll Do
Perform routine purification of proteins from recombinant and natural sources
Analyze and evaluate purification samples
Manage biological samples using laboratory software systems
Maintain accurate, complete, and traceable experimental documentation
Contribute to the optimization and validation of existing workflows and processes
Support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification of laboratory equipment
What You Bring
Completed education (HTL, FH, BSc, MSc, or equivalent) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related life sciences discipline
Practical experience in the purification of recombinant proteins from various expression systems
Hands-on experience with FPLC systems, ideally ÄKTA or NGC platforms
Strong attention to detail and enjoyment of working in a structured laboratory environment
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
Excellent English communication skills; German language skills are an advantage
Experience with automated protein purification systems is considered a plus
Compensation
Salary is in line with the collective agreement (KV Handwerk und Gewerbe) for a full-time position. Your actual salary will reflect your experience and qualifications.
