Maple Reinders Constructors is currently searching for an experience Project Coordinator to join our special projects team out of our head office in Mississauga Ontario.
The Special Projects Project Coordinator is Maple Reinders’ designated representative to the Owner/Client. The morals, ethics and standards of the company and its employees are to be reflected. The Special Projects Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Project Manager to procure, estimate, and run projects between $500,000 to $5 million.
This person is ultimately responsible for:
- Assisting with securing project leads.
- Assisting with providing project estimates and proposals.
- Collaborate with owner and consultants to design project to meet the needs of the client.
- Ensuring that a targeted margin and profit is made on every project.
- Ensuring that the work is performed as per the contract documents.
- Completing the project with outstanding quality.
- Ensuring the project is a safe workplace.
Qualifications/ Skills:
- University degree in Engineering, or Engineering Technology Diploma (Civil or Mechanical), or a combination of education and industry experience preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience as a Project Coordinator, Estimator, Business Development Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of ICI construction, with a focus on fit-ups and renovations.
- Proficient MS Office and Windows-based computer applications skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, etc.).
- The ability to use/learn industry-specific software programs such as Maple’s Internal Project Management Software, estimating software, and MS Project.
- Previous estimating experience is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 / Year (depending on experience)
