Senior Product Designer

Squiz powers the enterprise Digital Experience Platform (DXP) that enables organisations across the globe to orchestrate, connect, and deliver seamless customer journeys. As we accelerate into our next phase of growth, we are building a brand-new suite of content intelligence, optimisation, and AI assistant products designed to revolutionise how digital teams create, evaluate, and scale their content.

We are looking for a strategic, high-agency Senior Product Designer to act as a core partner to our Engineering and Product Leadership teams. In this role, you won’t just be executing features, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, visualizing, and validating high-level roadmap initiatives. You’ll sit at the intersection of AI innovation, rapid concept generation, and systemic visual craft, establishing the fundamental UX primitives that define the future of our platform.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll shape and vision strategic initiatives, acting as a key facilitator alongside Product and Engineering leadership. You’ll take high-level strategic concepts, shape them into short and longer term visions, and validate before they hit production. 
• Lead through facilitation and collaborative prototyping. Your role centres around bringing teams together on the spot to explore concepts, course-correct ideas in real time, and align stakeholders around tangible, validated human-centred experiences.
• Design for and with AI to improve the user experience and our own processes. You’ll craft non-deterministic AI workflows, intelligent assistants, and insight driven analytics. You’ll actively leverage and explore modern AI tools in your own daily workflow to prototype and iterate at high velocity, sharing and contributing to wider team processes. 
• Define and scale our design system to proactively identify when UI patterns break under complex workflows and how our visual language evolves across key growth areas. You’ll define, document, and evolve our design system components so that our platform remains cohesive as it scales. 
• Bridge strategy and production, balance fast-paced exploration with meticulous execution. You’ll transition smoothly from fast generative prototyping into traditional and emerging design tools to deliver crisp, accurate production assets and guidelines for our engineering teams. 

What You’ll Bring

• Deep B2B SaaS and enterprise pedigree. 5+ years of experience designing complex platform workflows, backed by a portfolio that demonstrates your role in establishing, expanding, or maintaining scalable design systems. 
• High craft, product taste, and a high bar in visual and interaction design polish. You have a low tolerance for clunky UX, a sharp eye for layout harmony, and a natural instinct for when to invent new design primitives versus leveraging existing ones.
• Strong facilitative and strategic instincts. You're comfortable stepping into ambiguous spaces to lead shaping initiatives, frame problems visually, and guide non-design stakeholders toward clarity and consensus. 
• Technical pragmatism and a history of partnering closely with engineering leads early in the process to understand complex data, technical trade-offs, and build feasible solutions without diluting quality. 
• AI curiosity & hands-on experience. A strong background designing around data-heavy or AI/ML-driven features, paired with an eager experimentation mindset that naturally incorporates AI tools to speed up your own exploration and prototyping.
