
Human Factors Graduate / Human Factors Engineer

Are you passionate about understanding people and designing products that improve lives?
We're looking for a Human Factors Graduate or Human Factors Engineer to join our established Human Factors team. Whether you're starting your career or already have industry experience, you'll help develop innovative medical devices and healthcare technologies used by patients and healthcare professionals around the world.
About Team Consulting
At Team Consulting, we specialise in the design and development of medical devices. Working alongside engineers and designers, our Human Factors team supports projects from early user research and concept development through to validation and regulatory approval. Our work spans drug delivery devices, diagnostics, surgical technologies and digital health products.
The Role
- You'll contribute to a broad range of Human Factors activities, including:
- Planning, conducting and analysing user research.
- Supporting and delivering Human Factors studies.
- Applying Human Factors methods throughout product development.
- Analysing findings and producing clear, evidence-based reports.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary project teams and clients.
Who We're Looking For
Graduate level
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in Human Factors, Psychology, Ergonomics, Design, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing a career in Human Factors consultancy.
Engineer level
- Previous experience in Human Factors, usability, user research or medical device development.
- Experience planning and delivering Human Factors activities and contributing to project delivery.
For both levels, we're looking for people with strong communication skills, curiosity about human behaviour, and a passion for user-centred design.
Hybrid Working & Travel
We support hybrid working, with flexibility around where you work when project commitments allow. This role also involves regular travel within the UK and internationally to conduct user research and Human Factors studies.
