Voyago is now hiring School Bus Monitors in Kingston for the 2026/2027 school year!

We are currently seeking Part-Time Monitors to fill vacancies and support future route opportunities.

Your role:

• You will provide a safe, supportive, and caring environment for students, including children with special needs, while travelling to and from school.
• You will assist students with boarding and exiting the school bus safely, ensuring proper securement of mobility devices and other equipment when required.
• You will support students throughout the ride by helping them remain calm, comfortable, and following established safety procedures.
• You build positive, respectful relationships with students while communicating any concerns or incidents to the driver and appropriate school staff.
• You will work closely with the driver to ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive transportation experience for every student.
• You will adhere to the scheduling based on bus route and needs of the students

Your profile:

• You are safety focused
• You are 21 years of age or over
• You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening
• You have a sound knowledge of Kingston and surrounding areas
• You have the ability to work with others; specifically the bus driver
• You are available for the required shifts:
• Monday to Friday approximately 6:00am to 9:15am AND 1:00pm to 4:30pm (Start and end times will vary depending on the specific details of each route
• You possess solid communication skills
• You enjoy being around children of all ages
• You have experience working with children or individuals with special needs is considered an asset
• You are comfortable working as a spare monitor helping cover for monitors who are off sick or have booked time off

Hourly Rate:

• We offer a competitive hourly pay
• $19.00/hour

• We pay for the pre & post trip circle checks
• School routes are paid a minimum 4 hours per day!
• Charter work is available for those interested in picking up hours beyond their regular school route!

• Locations include Kingston and surrounding regions: Odessa, Battersea, Bath, Joyceville
