
Technical Sales Manager | US MNC | Optical/Metrology Equipment/Semicon

About the RoleWe are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to drive business development within the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing industries. The role combines technical knowledge with consultative selling to help customers address process control, quality control, and precision measurement requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with semiconductor manufacturers, equipment suppliers, technology partners, and key customers.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets and territories.
Understand customer manufacturing processes and recommend suitable metrology, inspection, and precision measurement solutions.
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, proposals, and customer discussions.
Work with application engineers and technical teams to develop solutions based on customer requirements.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity development through negotiation and order closure.
Participate in customer visits, industry exhibitions, conferences, and business development activities.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline information, and customer records through CRM systems.
Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to support business and product strategies.
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Proven experience in capital equipment, industrial equipment, or technical equipment sales.
Experience or familiarity with the semiconductor industry and manufacturing processes.
Strong technical sales, presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple sales opportunities effectively.
Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
MUST have experience in selling metrology, inspection, microscopy, automation, semiconductor equipment, or other precision technical products.
Knowledge of dimensional metrology and precision measurement technologies.
Exposure to wafer fabrication, advanced packaging, semiconductor assembly, or electronics manufacturing.
Experience working with international customers, distributors, or channel partners.
