About the Role
We are seeking an autonomous, detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of quantitative survey projects. Operating remotely during West Coast hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Time), you will serve as the primary client-facing point of contact managing survey fieldwork, coordinating with third-party panel partners, maintaining data quality and integrity and supporting late-day project launches for Eastern Time clients. In this role, you will act as a trusted research partner to clients, applying your quantitative expertise and resourcefulness to anticipate challenges, provide practical guidance, and deliver high-quality research outcomes with speed and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution: Manage panel-only and full-service survey engagements from kickoff to final data file delivery; monitor quotas, feasibility, and response rates.
- Research Consultation: Provide practical recommendations on survey design, sampling, and fieldwork strategy to help clients achieve high-quality research outcomes.
- Client & Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and third-party sample/translation vendors, proactively managing expectations, timelines, scope, and budgets.
- Data Quality & Compliance: Conduct data quality checks and cleaning in Excel while maintaining rigorous GDPR, CCPA, and PII protection standards.
- Time Zone & Launch Support: Provide reliable coverage during Pacific Time hours, including support for late-day Eastern Time project launches and seamless project handoffs.
- Project Financials: Track margins, monitor vendor costs, and coordinate final billing reconciliation.
What You Bring
- Quantitative Research Experience: 4+ years of experience in quantitative market research, managing projects from questionnaire programming through final data delivery.
- Project Ownership: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, balancing timelines, priorities, quality, and client needs.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and provide proactive guidance.
- Research Operations: Hands-on experience with panel/sample providers, survey programming or hosting, fieldwork, and data quality processes.
- Data & Compliance: Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience handling PII in accordance with applicable data privacy standards, including GDPR and/or CCPA.
- Autonomy & Problem-Solving: Highly resourceful and proactive, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and resolve complex challenges independently.
- Standard working hours are 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Pacific Time (12:00 PM–9:00 PM Eastern Time), with occasional flexibility required for project launches or urgent client needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in expert networks, primary research, or other rapid-delivery research environments.
- Hands-on experience with survey platforms (Qualtrics, Decipher/Forsta) and project tools (Monday.com).
