Senior Marketing Analyst
Hutch is looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to join our team in either our London or Dundee studio. We're seeking someone who is deeply data-driven and passionate about making an impact. You'll be a strong collaborator and communicator, able to translate complex data and concepts into clear insights that drive decision-making.
In this role, you'll work closely with our Growth, Marketing and Games Product teams to deliver actionable insights that optimise the performance of our user acquisition campaigns, marketing initiatives, and in-game features and live events. You'll bring product context into how you model and report on marketing performance, and you’ll bring marketing data into product conversations.
Responsibilities
- Work in a highly impactful role at a studio that values data, to analyse performance marketing data and enable data-driven decisions
- Lead performance marketing analytics activities, building out processes, documentation and priorities
- Take responsibility for the curation and automation of LTV Modelling to measure and predict Return On Investment
- Conduct analysis and deep-dives to help answer key questions surrounding marketing performance
- Develop and maintain reporting of performance marketing, present in regular update meetings
- Inform UA, game analysts and marketing teams in best practices for analysing marketing campaigns in collaboration with BI Team, and create self-service dashboards and tools for performance marketing
- Investigate and manage new methodologies and services such as Media Mix Modelling, SKAN, incrementality testing, predictive modelling, etc.
- Work with the Game Analytics team to analyse post-install dynamics of acquired users
- Track metrics connecting acquisition quality and marketing spend to downstream player behaviour, retention and monetisation, informing feature and in-game economy decisions
- Design, run and evaluate experiments (A/B tests, campaign and feature trials) to measure marketing and product impact, applying appropriate statistical rigor to your conclusions
- Proven experience in an analytical role within marketing, ideally in a data-driven, performance-focused environment
- Strong analytical skills and experience with LTV/ROI modelling and marketing mix or attribution analysis
- Solid understanding of marketing principles, digital advertising channels, and campaign optimisation
- Comfortable partnering directly with Product Managers or Game Leads — translating marketing and player data into input that shapes feature and LiveOps decisions, not just campaign optimisation
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights and present them effectively
- Proficiency in Excel and Experience with BI/analytics tooling (e.g. Amplitude, Tableau, or similar)
- A degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative field
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with Media Mix Modelling techniques
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation
- Experience creating clear and compelling data visualisations using tools like Tableau, Power BI or Qlik Sense
- Background in statistics or predictive modelling
- An interest in games and understanding of what makes them engaging and fun
