If you love making a difference, you’ll love making it sparkle for millions of Very customers. ✨

About the team

Join our ambitious Gaming team at a pivotal moment in our journey. Gaming is one of the most exciting and fast moving categories in retail, and we're making fantastic progress, challenging conventions and redefining how we show up for customers, brands and the industry.

Working with world-leading partners including PlayStation, Nintendo, XBOX and many more. You'll be part of a team that thrives on innovation, embraces change and continually looks for new ways to grow. We're not interested in standing still. We're looking for people who are passionate about pushing boundaries, delivering outstanding results and helping shape what comes next.

If you're energised by pace, inspired by change and want to make a genuine impact in a category that's constantly evolving, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

We want someone who is curious, proactive and always looking for ways to do things better.

About you

We're looking for someone who brings commercial credibility, but just as importantly, a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

You will:

  • Have experience in category management, buying or merchandising within a retail environment.
  • Be commercially minded, highly analytical and comfortable turning insight into action.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and embrace change as an opportunity.
  • Have the confidence to challenge thinking, bring fresh ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Be passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and an ability to bring people on the journey.
  • Have a genuine interest in Gaming, technology or digital entertainment, with a curiosity for where the industry is going next.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who doesn't just adapt to change but actively creates it. Someone who is excited by innovation, motivated by progress and eager to help shape the future of Gaming at The Very Group.
