Social Media Manager (Paid Social)
Who We Are
We are the largest global socially-led creative agency, with unrivalled social media and influencer marketing expertise. With over 1,200 people in four continents, we deliver a global perspective to our clients in a time when social media is shaping culture.
We're proud to be a multi award-winning agency, with Cannes Lions, One Show, Webby and Shorty Awards, to name but a few. Our most recent work has seen us help Amazon Music, Lucozade and Adidas deliver some of their biggest and most innovative campaigns to date.
As well as creating for clients, we help educate the wider industry. Our Instagram publication The Feed tracks culture at the speed of social. 6,500 people registered or tuned into our events last year, and our reports garnered more than 20 million views.
The Opportunity
Are you obsessed with what makes a hook land at 0.3 seconds?
Do you want real creative autonomy as part of a tight creative duo for one of the world’s most recognisable food delivery brands?
Are you energised by the challenge of paid social content performing at real volume and pace?
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager (Paid Social) to join the London team with an exciting and culture-first brand. You’ll be working as one half of a tight creative duo alongside a Content Creator who is as obsessed with content as you are, originating paid social content that actually performs across international markets, on Meta, TikTok and Snap, at real volume and
real pace.
This is a mid-level role with real creative autonomy, built for someone who brings editorial instinct and platform fluency in equal measure. You will work closely with a central London-based team, taking global master content and making it genuinely work for your market, while also originating ideas that could only come from someone embedded in that culture. You will need to have an opinion on why something worked last week and what that means for next week, and find a modular content system more exciting than intimidating.
You are required to already hold a UK Right to Work as well as be able to attend the London office 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday).
What You’ll Have Delivered Elsewhere
- Originating social content concepts for Meta, TikTok and Snap that are grounded in culture, audience behaviour, and platform trends to drive brand affinity and cultural relevance.
- Developing social concepts, content angles, and messaging hierarchies from global concepts, ensuring seamless creative alignment across regional touchpoints.
- Writing copy and scripts that are platform-native, performance-driven, and distinctly on-brand to elevate tone-of-voice consistency.
- Identifying reactive content opportunities and turning them around quickly without compromising quality, keeping the brand embedded in real-time cultural conversations.
- Contributing to a repeatable format library: building on what works and iterating fast to enhance overall creative agility.
- LoFi iPhone content capturing and editing, bringing authentic, human-centric storytelling to life.
- Using AI tools to accelerate ideation, scripting, and first-pass asset creation, and experimenting with new AI-powered features as platforms roll them out to pioneer innovative content workflows.
- Applying performance creative principles to every piece of content: strong hooks, clear value propositions, and native calls to action to deepen audience connection and message resonance.
- Working within Celtra’s templated production environment to produce and adapt assets at scale, streamlining production workflows while maintaining visual integrity.
- Working as a genuine creative partner with the designer, blending editorial and visual thinking across every piece of content to deliver cohesive campaign narratives.
- Tracking tasks and deadlines within a structured production cycle using Asana to support seamless team delivery and operational efficiency.
What Else Are We Looking For?
- Proven experience in social media content creation, editorial, or a closely related discipline, with a strong portfolio of paid and organic social content.
- Proven ability to write short-form copy and scripts that stop the scroll: punchy, platform-native, and commercially minded.
- Comfort working within templated or modular content systems, with an understanding of why constraints can be creatively liberating.
- Familiarity with Meta and TikTok as paid social platforms, including format best practices and creative performance principles.
- Confident using generative AI tools in daily workflow, for ideation, scripting, first-draft copy, or reactive content turnaround (e.g., ChatGPT/Claude, Midjourney, Runway, CapCut's AI editing features) and treating them as things to test and form an opinion on.
- You pay attention to what is happening in your market, use social media with intent, and know how to turn a cultural moment into a content opportunity.
- You do not protect ideas, you build on them, and you are energized by working closely with a creative partner.
- You are comfortable with autonomy and take ownership of your work without needing constant oversight.
- You understand that this content exists to drive orders, not just engagement, and design with that in mind.
