
Associate Operations Manager

In 4 years Zoomo has helped transition millions of urban miles to light electric vehicles, built a team of >200 world class engineers, operators, sales staff and vehicle repair technicians, developed and deployed the world's best last mile delivery electric bikes and fleet management software, and successfully deploys these solutions around the world. We operate across the USA, UK, Europe, Canada and Australia. Zoomo vehicles are used by major players in the food, grocery and parcel delivery segments with partners including UberEats, Glovo, Doordash, JustEat Takeaway, Deliveroo, Domino's, Pizza Hut, Amazon, FedEx, Getir, Ocado, GoPuff and many more.
The Role
We're hiring the person responsible for managing key ingredients in Zoomo's operations: spare parts and process excellence. You are directly reporting into the Country Lead / Head of Operations and will become a key part of the UK leadership team.
As an Associate Operations Manager, your responsibilities include:
- UK-wide spare parts management and distribution for e-bike, e-moped and e-cargo bikes for Zoomo’s UK business
- Being the POC for central Supply Chain and Hardware teams on fleet forecasting, spare parts planning and supplier management
- Management of Zoomo's in-house parts rework team and overall responsibility for rework parts output (e.g. batteries, IoTs, controllers, displays, motors)
- Ownership of key operational excellence processes for the UK, incl. but not limited to relating to battery safety and system accuracy
- Working closely with the UK Head of Operations on delivering key growth or profitability projects
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in the wider field of business, economics or engineering) or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years experience working in an operations, inventory management or warehousing context
- Experience working with imperfect data in a fast-paced environment
- Pragmatic prioritisation, implementation and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills using spreadsheets, preferably also experienced with Bigquery and AI tools
- Experience managing projects, and building tools and processes to improve operational efficiency
- Ambitious, efficient and stable under tight deadlines and competing priorities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- People management experience (preferred)
- Experience managing health and safety processes in an operational business (preferred)
