You will be instrumental in the design and delivery of our main public facing platform and the sophisticated supporting tools that power it. You will be responsible for pioneering agentic workflows within our SDLC, leveraging Anthropic Claude to boost developer productivity. Our team is committed to cutting edge innovation, leveraging Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), and advanced analytics data aggregation to drive system feedback and continuous improvement.</p> <h2><strong>Who You Are:</strong></h2> <p>Humble, Hungry, Smart.</p> <h2><strong>What You'll Be Doing:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Architect and deliver high impact features for our main public facing insurance marketplace and internal toolsets.</li> <li>Drive innovation in UX and implement advanced AI patterns including RAG and MCP to enhance platform intelligence.</li> <li>Coach and mentor junior engineers within the team and organisation.</li> <li>Champion our Agent First philosophy by driving agentic enablement across our development lifecycle.</li> <li>Utilize analytics data aggregation to create feedback loops for continuous system and process improvement.</li> <li>Proactively engage with cross functional stakeholders including Product Managers and Architecture team.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>A third level degree in an Information Technology or Computer Science related field.</li> <li>You will have 5+ years of professional programming experience including experience at a software product company.</li> <li>You have experience in the following disciplines; supporting cloud platforms at scale (AWS), working with infrastructure as code, container orchestration environments (preferably Kubernetes) and observability platforms.</li> <li>Hands-on Back-End Experience.</li> <li>You are proficient in Typescript.</li> <li>You are experienced in continuous integration and deployment tools.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Desirable Criteria:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>You have a security-first approach with a strong focus on secure delivery of application software and cloud infrastructure.</li> <li>You have experience with container based solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes.</li> <li>You are proficient in deploying infrastructure as code.</li> <li>UI development experience (e.g. React).</li> <li>Cloud native services (AWS).</li> <li>Engineering systems/applications at scale.</li> <li>Serverless architectures.</li> <li>Microservice based architecture.</li> <li>Continuous integration and deployment tools.</li> </ul> <p><br>Everquote offers a competitive salary and total compensation package including bonus and a comprehensive range of health and wellbeing benefits.</p> <h3><strong>Statement on Fair Employment and Equal Opportunities</strong></h3> <p>EverQuote NI is committed to ensuring equal opportunity for all job applicants and employees.
