Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a motivated and reliable Yardhand to join our Adelaide Service team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment, values safety and organisation, and wants long-term career development with a respected industry leader.

As a Yardhand, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our Service department by ensuring the yard, warehouse and dispatch areas operate safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Receiving, handling, storing and dispatching capital equipment
  • Supporting technicians and field service teams with parts, batteries and chargers
  • Maintaining a safe, organised and professional workshop and yard environment
  • Learning Crown’s systems, processes and equipment as the foundation for future progression

 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with stock control of capital equipment, batteries and chargers
  • Unload and load containers and transport deliveries safely and accurately
  • Allocate batteries and chargers to units and ensure battery rotation and readiness
  • Assemble, pack and despatch internal and external orders
  • Maintain clear stock identification, storage areas and walkways
  • Assist with regular stocktakes and reconciliation
  • Maintain yard and warehouse presentation, cleanliness and safety
  • Support service and workshop teams with day-to-day operational needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in warehousing, yards or hands-on operational roles (desirable, not essential)
  • A strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and pride in doing things properly
  • Ability to work safely in a physical, fast-paced environment
  • Interest in machinery, equipment, trades or technical career pathways
