
Return Coordinator Assistant (Edmonton South)

The position:
Reporting to the Parts and Service Manager, the Return Coordinator Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the shop, damage area, and parts functions by maintaining organization, inventory accuracy, and the efficient processing of defective returns and warranty claims. This role works closely with technicians and the Parts Department to locate parts, manage inventory, coordinate manufacturer returns, and maintain accurate records, helping ensure a safe, organized, and productive environment. By keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes, the Assistant Return Coordinator plays an important role in enabling the team to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience to customers.

What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and damage area, ensuring products, parts, and materials are properly stored and easily accessible
- Monitor and manage shop, floor, and damage inventory, including conducting counts, replenishing stock, and maintaining accurate records
- Support technicians and the Parts Department by locating parts, handling inventory, and assisting with day-to-day operational needs
- Process defective returns and warranty claims, including coordinating with manufacturers and maintaining accurate documentation and follow-ups
- Collaborate with team members across departments to support workflow, respond to operational requests, and uphold company policies and safety standards
What you need to be successful:
- Previous experience in a shop, warehouse, or similar environment preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to follow instructions, stay organized, and work efficiently with attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude to assist with basic installations and routine maintenance tasks
- Physically capable of lifting, standing for extended periods, and adapting to flexible hours as needed
Availability:
This is a full-time position and will require you to be available:
Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm
Compensation:
$18/hr to $20/hr
