The Las Cruces New Mexican is the latest initiative of The Santa Fe New Mexican, which is family owned and independent with statewide influence on public-policy coverage. The New Mexican started in 1849 and is the oldest – and, dare we say, the best – news organization in the state.
We’re particularly interested in journalists who have a background in local news, food/dining, health, environment, sports, and arts/culture/events. We’re seeking reporters, photographers and video producers who would like to earn extra money while continuing to fine-tune their journalistic skills.
