What are we looking for?
An exciting opportunity for an Operations & Stock Coordinator to join our team at the Rockingham vehicle storage and refurbishment site. This is a varied, hands-on role combining operational coordination, administration, and stock control responsibilities, working on a direct manufacturer contract as part of a small, friendly and close-knit team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, working with initiative, and being involved in both office-based coordination and practical warehouse activities. You will play a key part in ensuring vehicles and loose items are processed efficiently through the refurbishment and logistics operation, while delivering excellent service to customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Operations & Administration
- Coordinate day-to-day operational activities supporting a manufacturer refurbishment programme
- Process vehicles through the refurbishment and storage workflow accurately and efficiently
- Produce customer, supplier and internal reports using Microsoft Office systems
- Handle customer requests promptly and professionally, maintaining a high level of service
- Work autonomously while collaborating closely with a small on-site team
Stock Control & Warehouse Duties
- Manage the warehouse of loose item stock using handheld technology
- Receive, label, package and store loose items (this role involves regular manual handling and heavy lifting)
- Pick and prepare loose items for repatriation into vehicles
- Carry out regular stock checks and inventory counts, ensuring systems are kept up to date
- Maintain organisation and accuracy within the loose items department
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
- Flexible, reliable and hands-on approach
- Full UK driving licence and confidence driving vehicles
- Willingness to work outdoors occasionally
Desirable
- Experience in stock control, inventory management or warehouse operations
- Previous experience in the automotive, logistics or operations sector
