About the Role

We're looking for a creative, organised and proactive Marketing and Communications Officer to work alongside our Marketing and Communications Manager and help deliver Outward's internal and external communications activity.

You'll create content for a range of channels including social media, newsletters, websites and internal communication platforms. You'll also support the promotion of specialist services such as Nutley Edge and Nutley Edge Activity Breaks, help market available accommodation opportunities, and provide administrative support for business development activities.

This role would suit someone with marketing or communications experience who enjoys variety, working with different stakeholders, and making a visible impact across a values-led organisation.

·         Promote available accommodation opportunities ("voids") to relevant audiences including families, referrers and stakeholders.

·         Analyse campaign performance and produce marketing reports.

·         Manage and respond to enquiries received through shared communications inboxes.

·         Use online funding directories to identify potential charitable trusts and funding opportunities.

·         Prepare standard funding correspondence and simple application forms using information provided by the Business Development Manager.

·         Support conferences, events and other communications projects.

Full Job Description available on request.

·         Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt content for different audiences.

·         Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

·         Experience creating content for websites, newsletters and social media platforms.

·         Experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign.

·         Good understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok.

·         Experience creating engaging visual communication materials.

·         Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data.

·         Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

·         High level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.

·         Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

·         Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

·         Educated to at least A-Level standard or equivalent.

·         Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

·         Experience within the charity, social care, health or housing sectors.
