You will establish and implement strategic procurement processes, build the first material group strategies and drive their end-to-end implementation. You will prepare and lead contract negotiations and contribute to the professionalisation and digitisation of Procurement.</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Material Groups in Scope:</span></p> <ul> <li>Timber / CLT (cross-laminated timber) and related engineered wood products</li> <li>Steel (structural steel, connectors, fasteners, profiles)</li> <li>Windows / Façade systems (glazing, frames, façade elements, seals)</li> <li>MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) including HVAC, electrical components, piping and sub-assemblies</li> </ul> <h2><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>What You'll Be Doing:</strong></span></span></h2> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">1) Build strategic procurement foundations</span></h2> <ul> <li>Establish and implement strategic procurement processes (e.g., sourcing methodology, governance, templates, KPIs).</li> <li>Develop the first material group strategies (category roadmaps, supplier landscape, TCO logic, risk and sustainability criteria) and drive implementation across the organisation.</li> <li>Shape supplier segmentation and SRM routines (performance reviews, development plans, risk mitigation).</li> <li>Ensure cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Production, Quality and Project teams to translate requirements into scalable sourcing strategies.</li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">2) Lead sourcing &amp; negotiations</span></h2> <ul> <li>Own supplier discovery, RFx, benchmarking and award decisions for construction-material categories.</li> <li>Prepare and execute commercial and contractual negotiations (pricing, frameworks, terms &amp; conditions) in collaboration with Legal/Finance and key stakeholders.</li> <li>Drive supplier qualification and continuous improvement with a focus on availability, quality, lead times, and total cost.</li> <li>Build strong partnerships across Europe and proactively manage supply risks (capacity, market volatility, compliance).</li> </ul> <h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;">3) Enable procurement professionalisation &amp; digitisation (pick your impact lane)</span></h2> <p>Depending on your strengths, you will own workstreams in one of the following areas to make Procurement scalable, transparent and data-driven.</p> <p><strong>Process Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and roll out scalable end-to-end processes (Source-to-Contract / Procure-to-Pay).</li> <li>Define roles, approvals and standards; develop playbooks and templates (RFx, negotiation, contract standards).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data Analytics</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build spend and category transparency; define a KPI framework (savings, supplier performance, delivery reliability, risk).</li> <li>Create decision-ready dashboards and routines for performance and savings tracking.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Process Automation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify automation opportunities (workflows, approvals, master data, reporting) and drive implementation with tool owners.</li> <li>Improve data quality and process compliance through smart tooling and standardisation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Communication &amp; Change Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Create change narratives, communication plans and training formats to ensure adoption of new processes and tools.</li> <li>Facilitate workshops and enable stakeholders to work effectively with the new procurement set-up.</li> </ul> <h2><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>What You Bring:</strong></span></span></h2> <ul> <li><span data-teams="true">5-7 years of experience in procurement consulting OR 7-10 years of professional expertise in strategic sourcing setting up and implementing material group and dual-sourcing strategies</span>&nbsp;with measurable impact.</li> <li>Strong negotiation and contracting skills; structured, ownership-driven working style.</li> <li>Analytical mindset (TCO, supplier performance, risk) and ability to translate insights into action.</li> <li>Confident communicator, strong stakeholder management, and a collaborative approach in cross-functional set-ups.</li> <li>Fluency in both English and German (min.
