About the Role

As our SEO Content Executive, you'll play a key role in growing our organic presence and helping customers discover valuable pet health information online.

Working within the Marketing team, you'll create and optimise content across multiple formats, including blogs, buying guides, category pages, landing pages, product descriptions, and FAQs. You'll use SEO insights, audience understanding, and modern content creation tools, including AI, to produce high-quality content that ranks well and delivers results.

This is a fast-paced role where priorities can change quickly, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

 

 

How You’ll Make a Difference

*Create, edit, and proofread engaging, accurate content across the website. *Conduct keyword research and translate findings into effective content plans. *Write SEO-focused content that improves visibility, traffic, and conversion. *Optimise page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and site structure. *Use AI-powered tools responsibly to improve content creation efficiency while maintaining quality and accuracy. *Maintain and champion brand tone of voice across all content. *Publish and update content within the CMS. *Monitor content performance using tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Semrush. *Interpret SEO and content performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. *Support digital PR activity by providing compelling content where required. *Ensure all content complies with relevant regulations, particularly within the pet healthcare sector.

 

 

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

*Exceptional written English and strong proofreading ability. *Proven experience creating and editing web content. *Demonstrable SEO experience, including:
    • Keyword research
    • Search intent analysis
    • On-page optimisation
    • Internal linking strategies
*Experience using SEO platforms such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar. *Experience using AI tools to support content creation and optimisation. *Confidence working within a CMS. *Ability to analyse and interpret SEO and performance data. *Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. *Excellent communication and collaboration skills. *Experience working with internal stakeholders and/or external agencies.

Desirable

*Experience within B2C ecommerce or retail environments. *Digital PR or brand authority-building experience. *Experience writing about pets, animal health, or veterinary care. *Familiarity with Adobe Commerce (Magento). *Basic HTML knowledge.
