
Working Student Production Automation (m/f/d)
As a Working Student Automation, you will be a key part of our Automation Team and help improve and scale production through practical automation solutions. As the second member of this growing team, you will have significant freedom to develop your own ideas and shape how projects are implemented. You will work closely with production technicians, team leads, external service providers and machine builders. From identifying inefficiencies to implementing solutions, your work will improve quality, reduce errors and enable more efficient production at Quantum-Systems.
What is your Day to Day Mission:
Identify inefficiencies, recurring problems and improvement opportunities in production.
Analyze root causes and develop practical automation concepts.
Take ownership of projects from the initial idea through implementation and handover.
Build and integrate solutions involving software, hardware, sensors and automation.
Coordinate external service providers, suppliers and machine builders when required.
Support production technicians with troubleshooting and technical improvements.
Help increase process stability, product quality and production scalability.
What you bring to the team:
You are studying Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, ideally near the end of your bachelor's degree or in a master's program.
You are passionate about automation and enjoy building, programming and developing solutions outside your studies.
Hands-on experience from private or university projects, internships or production environments is a strong advantage.
Knowledge in several of the following areas is welcome: PLCs, Python, robotics, sensors and actuators, electrical engineering, CAD, industrial networks, MES and production systems.
You think analytically, take initiative and work independently with a pragmatic hands-on mindset.
You are curious, eager to learn and communicate effectively with production teams and external partners.
You have C1 proficiency in either German or English and at least B2 in the other language.
