Digital Technical Lead
About the role
As the Digital Lead, you will lead a cross-functional team to build, customise and integrate digital wealth management solutions, with a specific focus on AMP’s mobile app, customer portal and digital customer experiences.
You will be responsible for providing technical leadership across our mobile app and API ecosystem, enabling the team to make sound engineering decisions and deliver secure, scalable and customer-focused digital capability.
Far from being a people leader removed from the technology, you will remain actively involved in software engineering while taking on greater responsibility for technical leadership. You will support and mentor team members, provide guidance on solution design and engineering practices, and contribute to the delivery of secure, maintainable and scalable digital solutions. Candidates will have strong experience designing, developing and debugging applications, with deep Flutter development experience and strong API integration skills.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Ability to identify strategic needs, collaborate on planning and provide sound business and technical recommendations
- Strong Flutter development experience, including designing, building and debugging mobile applications
- Experience leading teams using SCRUM and Agile methodologies
- Strong API integration experience and understanding of secure, scalable digital architecture
- Ability and willingness to challenge the status quo to deliver long-term change and improvements
- Extensive experience building effective relationships with product owners, technology teams and key business stakeholders
- Passionate about delivery and accustomed to driving business-critical programmes to success
- A willingness to jump on the tools if and when required
