About the Role
Right now, we’re looking for a Registered Health Care Professional (HCP) to join the Quality & Risk team to contribute to implementing the organisational quality and risk framework. The role of the Nurse Coordinator Quality & Risk is to facilitate organisational quality systems and support staff in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of service improvement initiatives.
Day to day the role is responsible for facilitating organisational quality systems, supporting staff in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of service improvement initiatives and upholding the code of expectations.
The role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, along with local, regional and national bodies. Therefore, the ability to communicate effectively and develop collaborative working relationships is essential.
About You
Applications are sought from experienced registered health care professionals with knowledge of the relevant legislative standards that govern healthcare practice and the principles of health equity.

A sound understanding of Māori and Pacific health models, mātauranga Māori principles and aspirations, and the needs of LGBTQI+ communities and people with disabilities is essential.
