Store Manager
About the Role:
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving the store’s success through strong leadership, customer engagement, operational excellence, and team development. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be working closely with your team and customers each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Customer Service/Sales Assistants
- Deliver exceptional customer service in-store and over the phone
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers
- Drive sales and promotional activity to meet KPIs and targets
- Maintain high standards in visual merchandising and store presentation
- Manage store operations, safety, and compliance requirements
- Ensure the store operates safely and efficiently at all times
- Train and develop staff to reach their full potential
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven success in a leadership role within retail, trade, or hospitality
- Strong customer service and sales focus, with a drive to exceed expectations
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
- Experience in managing store operations and leading by example
- Sound knowledge of safety management and improvement practices
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and meet deadlines
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling (lifting up to 25kg)
