Junior Site Engineer
We're looking for a motivated Junior Site Engineer who has recently completed their engineering studies and is eager to build a long-term career in the civil construction industry.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, gain hands-on project experience, and develop your skills across a variety of infrastructure projects.
What We're Looking For
- Recently completed a qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to doing quality work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work both on-site and in an office environment.
- Full NZ driver's licence (preferred).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Engineers and Site Managers with daily project activities.
- Conduct site inspections, measurements, and quality checks.
- Support health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
- Help collate site documentation, plans, and project records.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Monitor progress and assist with reporting requirements.
- Learn project management fundamentals including planning, claims, and cost control.
