Carpenter
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our client's team in South Auckland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who can hit the ground running from day one, work independently, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
About the Role
This position is focused primarily on maintenance and repair work, including the installation and repair of doors, windows, shelving, and other general carpentry tasks. The role does not involve heavy lifting and is well suited to someone who enjoys detailed, hands-on work and maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, repair, and maintenance of doors, windows, and shelving
- General maintenance carpentry work
- Measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing materials accurately
- Operating nail guns and other carpentry tools safely and efficiently
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Working independently and managing daily tasks effectively
What We're Looking For
- Proven carpentry experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Confidence using nail guns, power tools, and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Good problem-solving skills and practical mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Good English communication skills
- Neat and tidy presentation
