STMS
We’re looking for an STMS Cat A & B practising to join a well established civil construction and roading team with long‑term, reliable work across Christchurch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving environment, keeps calm under pressure, and can confidently manage safe, compliant worksites. During the busy season, the pace is high, the weeks are big, and the work is steady, so you’ll need to enjoy being part of a team that operates efficiently and consistently when things ramp up.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for overseeing traffic management on active civil and roading sites, supporting crews working on paving, chip sealing, and general road maintenance operations. You’ll ensure all traffic management setups meet standards, manage onsite safety, communicate clearly with teams, and help keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.
What You Need:
- Current STMS Cat A & B
- Ideally a Class 2 licence
- Experience with paving and chip sealing preferred
- Strong communication, reliability, and a safety‑first mindset
