Requirements
To maintain the operational effectiveness of Serko’s systems and networks, install, support, and customise developed systems software and firmware, and provide efficient escalated ICT support to all users in Serko.
What you will be doing
System Engineering
- Improve the interface between system users, the operating system and application software
- Ensure key projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Create customer feedback surveys and provide room for improvement
System Administration
- Ensure hardware, software, and network components are operational
- Oversee licensing requirements of products such as Slack, Google Suite
- Ensure a smooth application of licenses for all users
- Monitor the status of core infrastructure and take preventive measures to fix issues
- Optimize on/off boarding of staff processes by using automation where possible
ICT Support
- Provide timely ICT support to users relating to hardware, firmware and software issues (Level 3 support)
- Provide second-level support during busy periods, to ensure issues are prioritised appropriately and resolved in reasonable timeframes
- Provide support to teammates in cross-geographical regions as required
- Ensure realistic resolution times are provided to users and keep them aware of the status of their issues
What you will bring to the role
- Previous experience in Systems Administration and/or Systems Engineering
- Previous experience in ICT Support with good Networking exposure
- Experience leading projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong experience with Google Suite and licenses management
- Strong technical knowledge of desktop hardware, firmware, and standard software
- Strong analytical ability, with a methodical approach and well-developed troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of security risks and processes
- Strong customer service focus with a positive and can-do attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and autonomously
