
Finance Manager (12 month contract)
Step into a Finance Manager role where you will play a key part in driving accurate, efficient financial operations within a growing global fintech organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end transactional finance processes while gaining exposure to financial reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. With hands-on responsibility from day one and the chance to broaden your expertise across billing, credit control, and accounts payable, this role offers strong opportunities for development and progression.
Please Note: this role is a 12 month fixed term contract
Your key responsibilities as a Finance Manager will include:
- Managing billing cycles, including preparing and issuing invoices, maintaining records, and resolving billing queries
- Monitoring debtor ledgers, following up on outstanding balances, and managing credit control communications
- Processing supplier invoices, executing payment runs, and reconciling vendor and bank accounts
- Supporting monthly reporting processes, including reconciliations, ledger postings, and data analysis
- Preparing management reports and contributing to month-end and year-end close activities
- Collaborating with internal teams, auditors, and advisors to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Finance Manager:
- You will have experience preparing and analysing financial reports, including variance analysis, management reporting, and the interpretation of financial data to support business decision-making.
- You will have experience in finance operations, accounts payable, or a similar role with exposure to transactional finance processes
- You will have a strong understanding of billing, credit control, and/or accounts payable, enabling you to manage workflows effectively
- You will be confident using Excel and MS Office, with experience in ERP systems such as NetSuite being advantageous
- You will hold a recognised finance qualification (e.g. Steuerberater, Wirtschaftsprüfer, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and, ideally, IFRS.
