
Customer Quotation Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Quotation Specialist to join our Service Sales Team in our Newcastle Branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building strong customer relationships, and delivering accurate, high-quality quotations that support our customers' operational needs.
As the Customer Quotation Specialist, you will work closely with the Field Service Managers, Service Technicians and other internal stakeholder to prepare timely, detailed quotations for repairs, overhauls, batteries, tyres, road quotes and attachments, while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed service quotations with agreed service timeframes.
- Manage customer enquiries and quotation requests from receipt through to completion.
- Liaising with Service Technicians, Field Service Managers and customers to clarify requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Maintain accurate quotation records and customer information.
- Follow up outstanding quotations and identify opportunities to maximise service sales.
- Process customer orders and ensuring clear communication throughout the sales process.
- Assist with sales reporting, forecasting and performance tracking.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and the customer experience.
- Participate in team meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote and maintain a strong commitment to Workshop Healthy and Safety.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in customer service, service coordination, administration or quotation preparation.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work.
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
- The ability to prioritise multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience in technical, service equipment or automotive-related industry will be highly regarded.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.
