Role Purpose:

Under an 18-months Contract role as an Accounts Payable, support accurate and timely accounts payable operations by managing invoice processing, payment runs, vendor maintenance, and finance administration, while contributing to continuous process improvement and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Invoice and Payment Processing

  • Process invoices on a timely basis
  • Ensure invoices are coded accurately
  • Prepare and check payment batch files
  • Assist with raising purchase orders as required

Vendor and Stakeholder Management

  • Vendor maintenance
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues and clear outstanding accounts
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and answer queries

Compliance and Controls

  • Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, GS007, and internal control requirements
  • Suggest and contribute to process improvements and key finance initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance (preferred)

  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently
  • Proactive and adaptable in a changing environment
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage confidential financial information with discretion and apply appropriate data handling practices.

 

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in the real estate industry
  • Experience with Yardi ERP accounting software
  • Demonstrate an understanding of data privacy and security best practices when interacting with external AI platforms
  • Experience integrating AI tools into daily workflows to improve output quality and operational speed
  • Skill in auditing AI-generated data to ensure high standards of accuracy and professional integrity
