Associate - Fleet Management (Logistics Experience Required)
Shipa Delivery is a fast-growing digital last-mile logistics provider operating across UAE, KSA, and Kuwait under the Agility Logistics umbrella. We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to own the complete financial cycle of our business — a hands-on, high-impact role where you will be equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up your sleeves on daily operations.
From monthly close and management reporting through budgeting, audit, and day-to-day AP/AR — you will be the financial backbone of the organization and the key interface between business units and senior management. Fluency in AI tools for finance is a plus.
Role Summary: The Fleet Management Associate holds the responsibility of overseeing the Delivery Assistants in their day-to-day operational assignments, analyzing work processes based on performance reports and recommending improvements, leading coordination with other teams and departments, and reporting relevant matters to the management.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide leadership and daily support to Delivery Assistants; address and resolve operational issues or concerns.
- Consistently engage with Delivery Assistants to ensure that shipments are delivered in accordance with the Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure that the Delivery Assistants strictly follow the clients' SOPs to prevent any escalations from arising.
- Collaborate with Delivery Assistants to plan optimized delivery routes for efficient, professional, and hassle-free service.
- Monitor daily fleet operations and team performance; prepare and submit performance reports to the Operations Manager.
- Review and analyze logistics data (e.g., exception reports, delivery volume/hour, hours worked, accident reports) to identify cost-saving and performance improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of operational strategies to meet key performance goals and identify growth opportunities in the eCommerce space.
- Support both on-road and in-house operations with additional tasks as needed.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in logistics and supply chain management
- Minimum 2 years of fleet management or supervisory experience, required.
