About
Adecco is currently seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors to join a major commercial construction project in Queenstown.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role within a high-profile project, overseeing electrical teams and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. These positions offer the potential for ongoing opportunities beyond the initial assignment.
The Role
As an Electrical Supervisor, you'll play a key role in coordinating site activities, leading electrical tradespeople, and supporting successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Supervising and coordinating electrical teams on site
- Planning and allocating daily work activities
- Ensuring electrical installations are completed to specification and project deadlines
- Monitoring quality, compliance, and workmanship standards
- Promoting and enforcing strong health and safety practices
- Liaising with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades
- Supporting project delivery across a fast-paced commercial construction environment
- Identifying and resolving technical and operational issues as they arise
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Current EWRB Practising Licence (essential)
- Previous experience in an Electrical Supervisor, Foreman, or Leading Hand capacity
- Strong commercial electrical experience
- Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate site activities
- Sound understanding of NZ electrical standards and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery
Ideally, You Will Also Have
- Experience on large-scale commercial construction projects
- HVAC controls wiring experience
- BMS (Building Management System) installation experience
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple work fronts
