Casual Driver/Storeperson
Are you reliable, energetic and ready to support a busy branch when needed?
Corys Electrical is looking for a customer-focused Casual Driver/Storeperson to join our Masterton team.
This is a casual position, with work offered on an as-needed basis to help cover busy periods and other operational requirements. There are no guaranteed hours or regular pattern of work. Available shifts will generally be Monday to Friday during branch operating hours.
What will you be doing?
As a Casual Driver/Storeperson, you will support the branch across a range of warehouse and delivery activities, including:
- Receiving and unpacking stock, including checking goods against purchase orders
- Completing customer deliveries
- Replenishing and stocking shelves
- Assisting customers with loading goods
- Conducting stock counts
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Operating a forklift, where appropriately qualified
- Supporting the wider branch team as required
What do you need to bring to Corys?
We are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious and willing to get involved wherever support is needed.
Previous experience in deliveries, warehousing, or inwards and outwards goods would be advantageous. You will also need:
- A clean and current full New Zealand driver licence
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately
- A practical, team-focused approach
- The flexibility to accept casual shifts when available
- A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves regular lifting and manual handling
A current forklift operator certificate and F endorsement would be beneficial but are not essential.
