About the Team

Every day, LexisNexis produces and provides industry-leading legal content to more than five million professionals across 100 countries in the legal, corporate, government, accounting, academic and law enforcement markets. Today, with our cutting-edge, high-speed and easily accessible information solutions, you can be the difference that will uphold the law across borders as the world and technology evolves.

About the Role

The Cases Lead – Pacific is responsible for ensuring the operational delivery of case law content across the Pacific region meet LexisNexis standards for quality, timeliness, accuracy, and AI readiness.

The role serves as the regional point of contact for all case law-related operations, overseeing editorial workflows, monitoring operational performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in case content creation.

This role contributes to the transformation of legal publishing into intelligent legal content delivery by ensuring legal materials are structured, enriched, searchable, analytically valuable, and aligned with evolving customer research behaviour and GenAI product capabilities.

Responsibilities

The Cases Lead is expected to:

  • Lead operational delivery of case law editorial work across Pacific jurisdictions.
  • Monitor editorial performance metrics, service levels, quality indicators, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure editorial quality, consistency, and compliance with LexisNexis publishing standards.
  • Act as the primary regional contact for all case law-related operational matters.
  • Manage relationships with courts, reporters, vendors, licensors, and external content providers.
  • Lead operational projects, workflow improvements, and regional initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of AI-enabled editorial practices and participate in experimentation with emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with Product, Technology, Data Science, Editorial, and Commercial teams to enhance legal content and customer experience.

Without this role:

  • Editorial delivery across the Pacific region would lack consistent operational oversight.
  • Quality, timeliness, and service level commitments could be compromised.
  • External stakeholder relationships may not be effectively managed.
  • Opportunities for workflow optimization and AI adoption could be delayed.
  • Regional editorial operations would lack strategic coordination and governance.
