Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI examinations while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Support and guide patients throughout their imaging journey
  • Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of patient records
  • Work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to support diagnostic outcomes
  • Perform routine quality assurance checks and equipment monitoring
  • Adhere to MRI safety standards and best-practice imaging protocols

About You

  • Registered MRI Technologist with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB)
  • Current Annual Practising Certificate
  • Postgraduate qualification in MRI from a recognised institution
  • Strong understanding of MRI safety principles and imaging protocols
  • Experience working with Siemens and/or GE MRI platforms advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care
