About the role
The App Squad owns the Charlotte Tilbury mobile app experience across iOS and Android. Our ambition is to make the app our highest-value digital channel for routine, loyalty and exclusive demand: helping customers discover, decide and buy with confidence while creating reasons to return through personalised utility, exclusive access and engaging beauty experiences.
We are looking for a Product Manager to join the squad on a fixed-term maternity-cover contract. You will own the product direction and day-to-day product leadership for the app, translating company and digital priorities into a measurable roadmap with well-framed opportunities, aligned to squad OKRs. You will balance customer value, commercial impact, experience quality and delivery feasibility, with accountability for outcomes rather than simply shipping features.
You will work closely with Digital Product Design, Engineering and Delivery Managers, shaping work together early and driving it through delivery. You will also collaborate with Data, CRM, Loyalty, Trading, Marketing, Creative, Customer Care and other Product Managers to deliver coherent app experiences and make informed trade-offs. As maternity cover, you will provide continuity for the squad and support a thoughtful transition at the end of the contract.
As a Product Manager - App - 6 Month Maternity Cover you will
The role spans the full product lifecycle, from strategy and discovery through delivery, launch and learning. Responsibilities include:
- Own and communicate the App Squad's product strategy, OKRs and roadmap across iOS and Android, driving app contribution, customer value, retention, loyalty engagement and a lower-friction path to purchase.
- Frame and prioritise opportunities using an explicit value hypothesis: the customer behaviour to change, mechanism KPI, Product and P&L outcomes, expected impact, timing, confidence, feasibility and intended learning.
- Lead evidence-based discovery and partner with Digital Product Design from the outset, co-owning the problem while bringing together analytics, research, customer feedback, commercial context and experience insight.
- Work closely with Engineering and Delivery Managers to turn shaped opportunities into credible delivery plans, align milestones and dependencies, manage risks, remove blockers and maintain delivery confidence.
- Balance strategic bets and optimisation with platform health and foundational capabilities, making scope, sequencing and opportunity-cost trade-offs explicit.
- Define success measures, guardrails and instrumentation with Data and Engineering, using A/B tests, prototypes, usability testing, phased rollouts or post-launch reviews where they improve decision quality.
- Drive launch readiness with Design, Engineering and Delivery Managers, protecting the intended customer outcome and experience quality while managing scope and timing responsibly.
- Close the loop after launch by reviewing KPI movement and customer signals, then recommending whether to iterate, scale, stop or move on.
- Create a clear product narrative for stakeholders, share context transparently, clarify decision rights and escalate disagreements with options, trade-offs and a recommendation.
- Provide continuity throughout the fixed-term cover, keeping roadmap rationale, decisions, risks, learnings and commitments well documented for an effective handover.

About you
The role requires strong mobile product craft, commercial judgement and collaborative leadership, including:
- Proven Product Management experience delivering and improving consumer-facing digital products, with meaningful ownership of a native mobile app across iOS and Android.
- Strong outcome-led product practice and commercial judgement: setting OKRs, defining KPI stacks, framing value, prioritising opportunities and linking product metrics to revenue, retention or customer value.
- Experience using product analytics, customer insight and experimentation to make decisions, define success criteria and evaluate impact after launch.
- A track record of working with Product Design, Engineering and Delivery Managers in a cross-functional squad, shaping early and navigating scope, quality, technical, dependency and delivery trade-offs.
- Strong understanding of mobile product delivery, including release planning, app-store considerations, instrumentation, performance, stability, accessibility and privacy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to turn complexity into a clear narrative, make ownership explicit and influence across disciplines and seniority levels.
- Sound judgement in ambiguity, customer obsession and a high bar for coherent, intuitive and inclusive mobile experiences.
- Highly organised and dependable, with the ability to retain context, provide continuity and manage a smooth maternity-cover handover.
