We are looking for an organised and proactive HR & WHS Advisor to support our people, safety, training and compliance functions. This is a varied role where you'll work closely with managers and employees to deliver exceptional HR administration, workplace health and safety support, and learning and development coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and coordinate key employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, inductions, offboarding, employee records, HR systems and payroll support.
  • Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees on policies, procedures, employment conditions, performance matters and workplace relations.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 management systems, ensuring effective compliance and continuous improvement practices.
  • Coordinate workplace health and safety activities including risk management, WHS documentation, toolbox talks, safety inspections, internal audits, incident investigations, corrective actions and return-to-work processes.
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives, including training compliance, apprenticeships, licences, accreditations and workforce development programs.
  • Prepare HR and WHS reports, maintain accurate records and documentation, and support audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
  • Promote employee engagement, wellbeing and a positive workplace culture through communication initiatives, recognition programs and continuous improvement activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR, safety and operational processes while supporting best practice across the organisation.

What you will need to succeed

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Work Health & Safety, Business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 01 year experience in HR, WHS, employee relations, or a similar advisory role.
  • Working knowledge of payroll operations, award interpretation, and Fair Work compliance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
