About the Role
As a Full Stack Developer at Richpanel, you'll play a critical role in building and optimizing applications that power customer support for thousands of brands. You'll balance speed, quality, and efficiency to ensure an exceptional user experience while taking features from concept to production.
You Will Be a Great Fit If You ...
- Have 3+ years of full-stack development experience: Proven expertise with Vue.js (or similar frameworks like React.js) on the frontend, coupled with proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development.
- Solve problems, not just write code – You analyze complex issues, break them down, and find the best solution.
- Own your work end-to-end – You take full responsibility, break tasks into actionable steps, and collaborate as needed to deliver results.
- Are a fast learner – You quickly adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and tools to deliver results efficiently.
- Thrive in ambiguity – You stay calm under pressure, apply critical thinking, and navigate complex challenges to find smart solutions.
- Move fast, but smartly – You ship features at top speed while keeping performance and quality intact. You understand when to cut scope, simplify designs, or focus on quick wins.
- Obsess over customers – You think beyond the code and care about the user experience. Your work makes the product better.
- Are always learning and adapting – You stay ahead by constantly improving, upskilling, and pushing boundaries.
- Have a strong CS foundation – You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science from a top-tier college (IITs, IIITs, BITS, NITs, or equivalent) or equivalent hands-on experience building complex systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Ship features fast, but smartly – Develop, test, and deploy 1-2 major features/improvements per month, ensuring quality and performance.
- Fix issues quickly – Identify, debug, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks across the stack before they impact users.
- Write clean, modular code – Ensure code is readable, maintainable, and scalable, making future development easier.
- Maintain high code quality – Write and enforce unit and integration tests (~90%+ coverage) to catch issues early and prevent regressions.
- Manage data efficiently – Design and optimize MongoDB and SQL schemas, ensuring data flows efficiently and queries run fast.
- Take ownership – Break down tasks into realistic deliverables, prioritize effectively, and take features from idea to production without constant supervision.
- Embrace AI tools like Cursor – Leverage AI-assisted coding, automation tools, and efficient workflows to ship faster without sacrificing quality.
- Think beyond code – Build with the user in mind, ensuring every feature and fix improves the customer experience.
What Success Looks Like
- Ship 1-2 high-quality features monthly with 90%+ test coverage.
- Take ownership from concept to production without supervision.
- Balance rapid delivery with maintainable, scalable code.
- Solve complex problems efficiently, addressing root causes rather than symptoms.
- Improve key metrics that directly impact the user experience.
Who Won’t Be a Good Fit?
- Those who just follow instructions without thinking critically.
- People who shy away from tough challenges or need constant supervision.
- Engineers who resist AI, automation, and efficiency improvements.
- Anyone who doesn’t take ownership — if you don’t drive things forward, this isn’t the place for you.
