PCB Design Engineer - New College Grad 2027
We are now looking for multiple PCB Design Engineers – NCG
NVIDIA is at the center of the AI revolution, building the computing platforms that power the world's most advanced AI systems. As part of our PCB Physical Design team, you'll collaborate with leading engineers to develop the hardware foundation behind next-generation GPUs, AI servers, and networking platforms.
Through mentorship, training, and hands-on experience, you'll grow into a system-level hardware expert while working on technologies that are shaping the future of computing.
Join us and help build the physical foundation of the AI era.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design the physical foundation of NVIDIA's AI infrastructure, enabling the world's most advanced GPU, networking, and accelerated computing platforms.
- Translate system architecture into manufacturable hardware through advanced PCB and interconnect design, balancing electrical performance, power delivery, thermal requirements, mechanical constraints, and product cost.
- Work on some of the industry's most challenging hardware designs involving multi-thousand-pin processors, high-bandwidth memory, multi-hundred-gigabit communication channels, and multi-kilowatt power systems.
- Collaborate with world-class engineers across silicon, system architecture, packaging, signal integrity, power integrity, thermal, and manufacturing disciplines to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Explore and deploy next-generation hardware technologies that shape future AI and data center products.
- Create innovative physical design solutions that improve system performance, accelerate product development, and enable scalable manufacturing worldwide.
What we need to see:
- Pursuing or recently degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in circuit theory, electronic systems, and hardware design fundamentals.
- Understanding of power delivery, voltage regulation, and DC-DC converter fundamentals.
- Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, and high-speed digital design concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Passion for technology, continuous learning, and solving challenging engineering problems.
Ways to stand out from the crowd
- Experience with PCB, hardware, or system design projects through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro or similar ECAD platforms.
- Experience with SI/PI simulation or analysis tools such as Sigrity, ADS, HFSS, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing, advanced packaging, or Design-for-X (DFX) technologies.
- Demonstrated curiosity, technical leadership, and a passion for building next-generation AI and accelerated computing systems.
