The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) seeks to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing that is centred around each person. Bachelor of Science (Nursing)
(Full/Mid-Term)
Eligibility Criterion
- Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- 'A' Level graduates/Diploma holders who have gained admission into the course
- Currently a nursing student with good semestral results
- Pass medical examination required by National University of Singapore (NUS)/Singapore Insitute of Technology (SIT) and EGH
Benefits
- Monthly allowance S$1,100
- Tuition fee funding capped at S$5,000 per year
- Pre-sponsorship medical examination and vaccination fees
- Students with good academic results will also receive study awards per semester
- One-time disbursement for uniforms and shoes, if applicable
Bond Period:
Upon graduation, the sponsored candidate will serve EGH for a bond period of up to 4 years as a Staff Nurse
Diploma in Nursing
(Full/Mid-Term)
Eligibility Criterion
- Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- 'O'/'A' Level graduates who have gained admission into the course at Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) or Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP)
- Currently a nursing student with good semestral results
- Pass medical examination required by NP/NYP and EGH
Benefits
- Monthly allowance S$1,000
- Tuition fee funding capped at S$2,000 per year
- Pre-sponsorship medical examination and vaccination fees
- Students with good academic results will also receive study awards per semester
- One-time disbursement for uniforms and shoes, if applicable
Bond Period:
Upon graduation, the sponsored candidate will serve EGH for a bond period of up to 3 years as a Staff Nurse
Higher NITEC in Nursing
(Full/Mid-Term)
Eligibility Criterion
- Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- ‘N’/’O’ Level graduates who have gained admission into the course
- Currently a nursing student with good semestral results
- Pass medical examination required by ITE & EGH
Benefits
- Monthly allowance S$900
- Tuition fee funding capped at S$425 per year
- Pre-sponsorship medical examination and vaccination fees
- Students with good academic results will also receive study awards per semester
- One-time disbursement for uniforms and shoes, if applicable
Bond Period:
Upon graduation, the sponsored candidate will serve EGH for a bond period of up to 3 years as an Enrolled Nurse
