Knowledge Centre India (KCI)

Established in January 2005, KCI in Gurgaon, works in close collaboration with the Global offices of Egon Zehnder. There are 5 teams that make up KCI: Research, Research Operations, Visual Solutions, Projects/CV Capture and Digital IT.

The Global Visual Solutions Team

The Global Visual Solutions team was started in 2011 to provide professional formatting and presentation finalization capability in the Firm.​

Currently, the team has 30 members working across 3 shifts to provide 24/5 coverage to offices worldwide. The team supports consultants, researchers, practice leaders, and partners by providing support across business documents, marketing, and digital communication assets.​

The team works on document conversion, brand adherence, and provide design solutions across various medium and platforms. The team provides brand and template adherence support across all internal and external communication. Additionally, the team works with the global community to create innovative videos, thought papers, newsletters, merchandise and many other custom supports.

The position

Creative Presentation Designer

The Creative PowerPoint Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping how ideas, insights, and narratives are communicated across Egon Zehnder’s global organization. Based within the Global Visual Solutions Group (“Creatives”) in Gurgaon, this role supports internal leadership teams and client-facing consultants by transforming complex, content-rich material into clear, compelling, and visually powerful PowerPoint presentations.​

The role sits at the intersection of business communication, storytelling, and visual execution. It requires a deep understanding of how structure, layout, and visual hierarchy can influence comprehension, engagement, and decision-making. The Creative PowerPoint Designer is expected to think beyond individual slides and focus on the overall flow, logic, and impact of entire presentations, ensuring that each deck tells a coherent and persuasive story.​

Working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment, the role demands both creative judgment and operational discipline. The individual must be comfortable managing multiple concurrent presentation requests, collaborating closely with stakeholders across geographies and seniority levels, and delivering consistently high-quality output under tight timelines. A strong ability to interpret briefs, synthesize feedback, and independently propose visual solutions is critical to success.​

This position caters to PowerPoint excellence, where attention to detail, brand stewardship, and clarity of communication are paramount. The Creative PowerPoint Designer serves as a trusted partner to internal clients, helping elevate everyday presentations as well as high-stakes, executive-level materials through thoughtful design, precision, and storytelling rigor.​

The Visual Solutions Executive will report to the Art Director at Creatives, Visual Solutions Team at KCI.

Roles and Responsibilities

Technical

• Own the end-to-end production of PowerPoint presentations for business development activities, client pitches, internal meetings, seminars, Workshop deck, Gallery walk, offsite deck, handouts leadership communications, and thought leadership initiatives.​
• Design high-impact presentations and presentation-based leave-behinds that clearly communicate ideas, insights, and strategic narratives.​
• Create and enhance presentation assets for a wide range of use cases, including proposals, credentials, documents, marketing presentations, event-related presentations, and internal communications, while acting as a guardian of the firm’s brand standards.​
• Translate complex ideas, data, and strategies into clear, well-structured, and visually compelling presentation narratives.​
• Apply advanced expertise in the latest versions of Microsoft PowerPoint, including: ​
• Creating and maintaining slide masters and templates​
• Designing for different output formats (projectors, monitors, virtual meetings, and print)​
• Managing PC and Mac compatibility​
• Using animations, transitions, and multimedia elements (including embedded video) effectively and purposefully​
• Shape the pacing, sequencing, and visual flow of presentations to support a strong narrative and engaging audience experience.​
• Deliver presentations in line with the defined creative direction, theme, and objectives provided by internal stakeholders or leadership.​
• Maintain and contribute to shared presentation resources, templates, and visual asset libraries.​
• Advise stakeholders on visual storytelling, slide structure, and content flow to improve clarity, impact, and engagement.​
• Conceptualize and develop presentation styles and visual approaches for both internal and external communications within established brand guidelines.​
• Design clear and intuitive data visualizations that make complex information easy to understand and interpret.

Operational

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to create presentation content that aligns with business objectives and communication goals.​
• Independently manage and prioritize multiple presentation requests while meeting frequent and often tight deadlines.​
• Coordinate with other offices or teams to share best practices, presentation standards, and emerging trends in presentation delivery.​
• Contribute to brainstorming and problem-solving around how content should be visually structured and presented.​
• Produce thoughtful, polished presentations with a strong eye for layout, consistency, and visual aesthetics.​
• Communicate directly with internal clients to clarify requirements, present design solutions, and interpret feedback effectively.​
• Stay current with evolving PowerPoint capabilities, visual storytelling techniques, and relevant creative tools that enhance presentation quality.

Candidate Profile

Design Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum five or more years of experience designing high-quality, professional presentations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.​
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint is essential; familiarity with Keynote and Google Slides is strongly preferred.​
• The role is presentation-focused, with most of the time spent designing and refining PowerPoint decks to a high standard of quality and consistency.​
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) used to create visuals, infographics, charts, and presentation assets for integration into PowerPoint.​
• Experience working with collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams is preferred.​
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and senior leaders across regions.​
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.​
• Strong understanding of how content, structure, and visual execution come together to create impactful business presentations.​
• Ability to quickly grasp complex topics and translate them into clear, audience-appropriate visual narratives.​
• Proven ability to manage timelines, balance multiple projects, and deliver consistently high-quality work under pressure.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office applications​
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) for creating presentation visuals​
• Solid understanding of presentation design principles, visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, design balance layout, and data visualization best practices
