Founding Account Executive / Sales Development Representative
About the Role
A fast-growing, Y Combinator–backed conversational AI startup is hiring its founding Sales Development Representative to join the Growth team in Berlin. This is a ground-floor opportunity to own pipeline generation for a voice AI product with strong, proven market demand — and a clear path to full-cycle deal ownership as you ramp up.
You'll help shape the sales playbook, build repeatable go-to-market motions, and play a direct role in scaling revenue quickly. If you thrive in high-energy, low-ego environments and want your work to have a measurable impact from day one, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Generate qualified pipeline to drive aggressive revenue growth over the next year.
Identify the right prospects and engage them through strategic outreach.
Drive multi-channel outreach across email, LinkedIn, and phone.
Build and manage relationships with customers from first touch onward.
Manage pipeline and maintain CRM tooling with rigor and discipline.
Transition into owning and closing deals end-to-end after strong early performance.
Help shape the GTM motion, build a repeatable sales process, and refine outreach strategies.
Contribute to hiring and growing the sales team, and building out the sales playbook.
What We're Looking For
Required:
Previous sales experience in a startup or other fast-moving environment.
A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets and KPIs.
Strong business acumen — ability to understand the problems and needs of diverse companies.
Hands-on, scrappy approach; comfortable with unglamorous, high-volume outbound work.
Proficiency with multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone) and CRM tools.
Near-native / C2-level German (non-negotiable) and strong English (B2–C1).
Willingness to work on-site in Berlin five days a week.
Collaborative, communicative, hungry mindset — you bring energy and leave your ego at the door.
Not a fit if you:
Lack direct sales experience.
Prefer remote or minimally collaborative work environments.
Avoid direct customer interaction or prefer purely strategic roles.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: €75,000 – €120,000 annually (depending on experience).
Early-stage equity opportunity at a well-funded, high-growth company.

Location
Berlin, Germany — fully on-site, five days a week.
This is not a remote or hybrid position.
