The Fanatics Sportsbook is available to 95% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S. Fanatics Casino is currently available online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Fanatics Betting and Gaming operates twenty-two retail sports betting locations, including the only sportsbook inside an NFL stadium at Northwest Stadium. Fanatics Betting and Gaming is headquartered in New York with offices in Denver, Leeds and Dublin.</p> <p>We are seeking a Data Analyst III to join our growing data organization in the enterprise reporting team. This data analyst plays a key role in developing and maintaining enterprise reporting frameworks. This role focuses on report creation, data modeling, transformation, and validation while ensuring compliance with internal governance. This developer helps bridge the gap between data engineering and analytics, ensuring that high-quality, reliable data is available for decision-making. We're looking for the right people to help us build the future of prediction markets.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design dashboards with a long-term mindset, ensuring they are optimized, scalable, and maintainable for evolving business needs.</li> <li>Experience working in a product-driven environment, partnering directly with product managers and engineering teams to influence product decisions — strongly preferred</li> <li>Maintain and continuously update dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and alignment with evolving business needs.</li> <li>Enhance and refresh existing BI assets, incorporating new data sources, business logic, and stakeholder feedback to keep reports relevant and actionable.</li> <li>Assist in data governance activities, including metadata management and reporting documentation.</li> <li>Design, build, and maintain scalable data models that support reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics.</li> <li>Support data modeling, transformation, and automation to improve reporting efficiency.</li> <li>Assist in gathering and refining reporting requirements from finance, compliance, and business teams.</li> <li>Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and quality control checks to maintain reporting integrity.</li> <li>Develop processes to streamline data extraction, transformation, and reporting workflows.</li> <li>Support automated reporting solutions to reduce manual effort and enhance reporting consistency.</li> <li>Investigate and reconcile reporting variances across reports, ensuring consistency and accuracy of KPIs.</li> <li>Work with stakeholders to identify root causes of discrepancies and implement fixes in data models or dashboards.</li> <li>Generate and maintain reports on key business metrics for governance, financial, and&nbsp; operational performance.</li> <li>Effectively communicate findings and insights to product managers, developers, and other stakeholders through clear reports and presentations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.</li> <li>Advanced SQL skills</li> <li>Data modeling utilizing a tool such as DBT, including&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage and optimize source code control in GitHub, leveraging branching strategies and best practices to ensure efficient collaboration and code quality</li> <li>Experienced with building dashboards and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, Looker).</li> <li>Customer obsessed and experience focused; highly outcome-oriented and data-driven; experienced in working in high-growth environments.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to partner closely with stakeholders, earning trust and prioritizing relationships.</li> <li>Logical and analytical approach to problem solving.
