About us

Qureight’s mission is to accelerate clinical trials and ensure breakthroughs in lung and heart disease reach patients without delay. Our AI-powered data and imaging curation platform enables the analysis of clinical imaging and other healthcare data, helping our customers bring treatments to market, faster.

We’re looking for talented people who want their work to matter. With offices in Cambridge and London, you’ll join our multidisciplinary team of clinicians, scientists, and engineers. What unites us is our open culture, continuous learning mindset, and a shared mission to help biopharma run faster, smarter trials.

About the role

We’re looking for a Junior IT Support Engineer to join our small IT team and help keep Qureight running smoothly day to day. You’ll be the friendly, reliable first point of contact for colleagues who need help with their tech, whether that’s setting up a new starter’s laptop, fixing a meeting room display, or walking someone through a tricky app.

This is a hands-on, Cambridge-based role, but you’ll also travel to our London office as needed to support colleagues and maintain IT equipment there. You’ll follow established processes to handle onboarding, offboarding, and everyday support requests, while also helping to improve how we communicate IT topics to the wider team through guides, how-tos, and training materials.

If you’re early in your IT career and looking for a role where you can learn fast, work across a wide range of technologies, and make a visible difference to the people around you, this could be a great fit. You’ll be supported by an experienced System Administrator and have plenty of room to grow.

What you will do

  • Be the first point of contact for IT support requests, resolving day-to-day issues such as password resets, account access, connectivity problems, and application queries.
  • Run user onboarding and offboarding following established checklists: setting up accounts, configuring laptops, arranging equipment, and revoking access when people leave.
  • Maintain IT equipment and infrastructure across both the Cambridge and London offices, including meeting room AV and conferencing systems, printers, WiFi, and shared hardware.
  • Create and maintain user-facing help materials: quick-start guides, how-to articles, FAQs, and short training sessions to help colleagues get the most from our tools.
  • Log, track, and update support tickets accurately, escalating to the System Administrator or external vendors when needed.
  • Help keep our IT asset register up to date, tracking hardware, software licences, and accessories.
  • Support basic identity and access management tasks such as creating accounts, resetting MFA, and adjusting group memberships under guidance.
  • Assist with routine checks and housekeeping across our core SaaS tools and systems.
  • Contribute to improving IT processes and documentation as you spot things that could work better.
  • A genuine interest in IT and technology, with some practical experience (professional, personal projects, volunteering, or a relevant qualification all count).
  • Good problem-solving instincts: you enjoy figuring things out and don’t give up at the first hurdle.
  • Clear, patient communication skills: you can explain technical things in plain language and you’re comfortable helping people who aren’t tech-savvy.
  • An organised, methodical approach: you follow processes carefully, keep good records, and don’t let things slip through the cracks.
  • A service-oriented mindset: you take pride in helping people and making their day easier.
  • Willingness to travel to our London office as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Even better if

  • You have hands-on experience with macOS.
  • You’re familiar with common business SaaS tools such as Microsoft 365, Slack, or JIRA.
  • You have experience with a ticketing or service desk system.
  • You’ve used or been exposed to mobile device management (MDM) tools.
  • You’ve created user guides, training materials, or documentation before.
  • You have experience supporting AV or conferencing equipment in meeting rooms.
  • You hold or are working towards an IT qualification or certification (e.g. CompTIA A+, Apple, Microsoft).
  • Salary range - £27,000 - £33,000
  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes an annual bonus plan, private medical insurance, life insurance, and a contributory pension scheme.
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and enhanced maternity leave.
  • A diverse work environment that brings together experts in many fields, including software engineering, DevOps, data science, machine learning, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and clinical operations.
