Overview
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will work closely with the legal team and business stakeholders across the company. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of legal and commercial matters in a fast-growing international technology business.
You'll support commercial transactions, corporate governance, regulatory projects, employment matters, intellectual property and legal operations.
What you’ll do;
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements using approved templates.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including execution, renewals and contract database administration.
- Support international commercial negotiations with customers, suppliers and strategic partners.
- Assist with corporate governance matters, including board meetings, resolutions and company secretarial filings.
- Coordinate legal due diligence for fundraising, financing and strategic transactions.
- Assist with employment law matters, including preparing employment documentation and supporting HR projects.
- Support intellectual property management, including trademark portfolios and confidentiality agreements.
- Conduct legal research across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assist with regulatory matters relating to aviation, privacy, technology and consumer law.
- Manage relationships with external counsel.
- Help develop legal templates, playbooks and internal policies.
- Support compliance initiatives and legal operations projects.
- Undertake general legal administrative tasks as required.
Requirements;
Required qualifications
- A law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
- 3-8 years' experience as a paralegal or legal executive (in-house or private practice).
- Excellent drafting skills.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness and practical judgement.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable qualifications
- Experience in a technology company.
- Experience with contract management systems.
- Company secretarial experience.
- Experience supporting international businesses.
